1. Lack of personal space. There is always room for one more! Between elevators, escalators, buses, and vans, Hondurans believe in being up close and personal.
2. Cows showing up everywhere! We do have traffic jams, but we mainly have cattle jams!
3. Random black outs. These usually last for a couple minutes, hours, or all day long. You do get used it, but it is not very fun!
4. There is not a law for indecent exposure in Honduras. It doesn't even phase us anymore to see men peeing on the side of the highway.
5. The crazy amount of bugs on our fly tape.
6. Toilet paper is thrown in the trash can, not down the toilet.
7. Speaking of toilet paper, you better bring your own to the city!
8. The pumpin' club music they play in all grocery stores.
9. Spending an entire day buying groceries, then cleaning and soaking vegetables.
10. Being taller than any Honduran in the city.
11. The lack of rhythm Hondurans have when clapping to praise music. This one we enjoy :)
12. This crazy place feels like home!
