Football

Nathan did an amazing job this season for the Henderson State University football team. As a redshirt freshman, he got to start or play in almost every game!This past Saturday was the huge rivalry game in Arkadelphia. Known to everyone from around here, the "battle of the ravine" is a huge deal where HSU plays OBU. Nathan got to start and it was such a fun day. My mom and dad came and we tailgated before the game. It was a great experience! Both stands were completely packed, there were about 6,000 in attendance! I was a very supportive fiance' and for the entire 1st quarter, I was THE ONLY ONE standing! Nathan played great but we didn't end up winning:( Just wait till next year! Nathan has 3 more years of eligibility left to play so he will keep getting better and better! Football is such an important part of our lives. Not only is it a passion for Nathan, but it is paying for his college. I love watching him play and love seeing what an amazing leader and team player he is. Yay for football!!
